What is HEADACHE?

One of the most common symptoms to accompany many illnesses is a continuous or throbbing pain the frontal part of the head or the sides and back regions of the neck usually referred to as headaches. The brain tissues themselves do not have pain receptors and as such do not feel pain. It is the surrounding tissues and the muscles that form the part of the head and the neck that are pain sensitive and give the symptom of pain depending upon the illness.
